Masks and Waiting Areas from 19th July

From 19th July 2021, with the end of national restrictions, the government have asked GP practices to take more responsibility for keeping our patients and staff safe. Here’s how we intend to do this.

PHE guidance put in place for the pandemic sets out the need for all patients, staff, and visitors to wear face masks or coverings when entering a GP practice, and to practice social distancing. This national guidance will still be in place after the 19th July when guidance in other settings is relaxed.

Therefore if you come in to the surgery, please remember to bring your face mask, or ask at reception for one, unless you are medically exempt. You will still be asked to socially distance in the waiting room.

We are aware that as restrictions are lifted in our communities, rates of Covid-19 are increasing, and we want to do everything we can to look after our clinically vulnerable staff and patients.

Thank you for helping us to keep our buildings safe for everyone.
